I'M BACK!

That's right! I'm back in Sheffield after over a month of eating, sleeping, and holidaying (sort of) in two countries over the Christmas break.

I had two assessments to turn in before my return and an Irish exam to revise for, so that's why I wasn't completely utterly free, but now all that is in the past and I have nothing but time until classes start on the 10th of February. Actually, I think mine will start on the 11th.

It's been such a lovely break: I had an English Christmas tasting some of the foods for the first time, I saw one of my favourite musicals Cats (where one cat sat on the sets with a bottle of water in costume during the interval - talk about breaking the fourth wall!), went ice skating, and had wonderful times with friends and family. It was so lovely that I didn't feel like leaving just yet, but now that I'm actually back, I'm enjoying it!

It wasn't as snowy in Finland like it usually is around this time, but it was fine!

This picture was in the Finnair seat pocket magazine on the way back to England. I just had to take a photo of it, and I think my mum at least will appreciate it!

They are some Norwegian children looking at fireworks or something like that. Oh, isn't he adorable!

Since coming back last Sunday, I've done the aforementioned Irish exam (which went well enough, I think), ordered some new glasses (I'll get them next Wednesday, I can't wait!), finished reading the best book I've read in a while (Life of Pi!) and today I've had a lovely relaxing day of doing pretty much nothing. I am free, after all!

Looking forward to having more Sheffield adventures to write about!
