vintage fair

Wow, it's March already!

Today was a very vintage-y day for me: first I went to a "vintage kilo sale" where you could buy a kilogram's worth of vintage clothes for £15. I wasn't going to buy anything, but my friend Amber and her housemates were going there so I thought it would be fun to go too. I did try on a coat (with no intentions to buy it, of course!) but luckily it was a bit too big so it was very easy to confirm my decision not to get it.

After that I went to another vintage fair in the Sheffield Town Hall (the same one I wrote about some time in the autumn) with Amber and her friend Bryony who was visiting her from Nottingham for the weekend. I had booked an appointment to get my hair and make-up done in a 50s style and I was very excited about that!

Almost done, just need another pair of eyelashes...

Then we went and had cake. Mine was Oreo, Amber's was carrot!

The finished product!

It was a fun experience! I hope I'll be able to remove the eyelashes. They're so long they touch my eyebrows if I look up!
